Yarrow should be planted in full sun. It's drought-tolerant and grows well in poor soil. Deadheading will keep flowers in bloom, prevent some flopping, and keep plants from self-sowing. Yarrow can become invasive. It also helps to divide the plant every 2-3 years to keep plant blooming. Height and width: 24 inches. Excellent cut or dried flowers.

Agastache is not as hardy as some perennials but it helps to cut in back in spring and not in the fall.

One of my favorite landscape flowers, coneflowers come in a variety of colors. Plant in full sun to part shade, if it still gets 6-8 hours of full sun. Heights range from 2-5 feet and flowers from June-August. Coneflower is drought tolerant when established. Water regularly and let soil dry out between waterings.
